The latest meeting was held Monday, April 27, 2009 - the night of the storm! But in spite of the horrible weather, FHPW had a huge turnout! If you missed it, here's what happened in pictures.
There were several member tables:
Left: Cassandra Voutchas of Cassandra's "Unique Boutique" on Westheimer showed a great variety of hand-crafted jewelry, unique apparel, and gifts. Contact her at 832-204-1575. Left: The Helping Afghan Women Project (HAWP) showed some of the women's work and had information to increase awareness of the Afghani women's situation. Lynn Fuller can be reached through www.helpingafghanwomen.org.
This table was so busy that it was hard to get one picture to show it all! Louise Grasse of Miche bags demonstrated to the delight of many ladies the ease with which a woman can now change her purse. Simply change the outside of the purse! From animal prints to classic colors, all it takes is a change of the outer shell.
